How do I get from Sunny Isles Beach in Florida to West Palm Beach in Florida via public transportation?

I am going on vacation to Sole on the Ocean located at 17315 Collins Avenue Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160. I need to get from this hotel to Port of Palm Beach at One east 11th street Riviera Beach, Florida. Is there an inexpensive way or a form of public transportation I can use. On Collins Avenue, catch the #105 Route E Bus. Here is a map http://www.miamidade.gov/transit/library...
Catch it on the West side of Collins Avenue so you go south and then west past the 163 Street Mall and on out to the Golden Glades Park & Ride. Here is a link to the bus schedule. http://www.miamidade.gov/transit/routes_...

At the Park & Ride, get on northbound TriRail. Here is a link to TriRail http://www.tri-rail.com/. Here is a link to our PalmTran bus system. http://www.pbcgov.com/palmtran/maps_schedules/

You do not want to be walking around in the port neighborhood with all your luggage and stuff looking like tourists. It is a rough area. Use mass transit to get to a secure place near the Port of Palm Beach, and then take a taxi from there. My advice is to disembark from TriRail at West Palm Beach station, and get on the #1 bus northbound. Disembark at 23rd or 24th Street in the historic Northwood neighborhood. Enjoy something to eat and ask your restaurant to get a taxi for you.

There is no such thing as a cheap cab in Florida, but there is good public transportation in Miami. Enjoy your visit to Florida.

Supershuttle will take you from MIA to your hotel for $26.00. Pick it up under the blue & yellow Supershuttle sign outside arrivals.

Sunny Isles to Riviera Beach is something of a project. I suggest taking a cab from your hotel to the Golden Glades or Hollywood Tri-Rail station & take Tri-Rail to the closest station to Riviera Beach & a cab from there to the port. Tri-Rail is a commuter line that runs every half hour at rush hours; every hour during mid-day; every two hours on weekends and not at all from about 10:00 PM to 5:00 am. So your timing must be right for this to work. Go to www.Tri-rail.com for schedules, fares & station locations.

Your best bet would be to take the Tri-Rail. Just know that it is going to be a long trip because just driving from Sunny Isles to West Palm is at least an hour...
